OUR SACRED LAND

As retreat lovers and global travelers, we would often stay in stylish spaces with beautiful natural settings. But that didn’t always guarantee that we would rest well or feel calm and connected to the land.

We later realized that beauty was only one aspect of sacred design. We had to also align the flow of energy in each space to our retreat center’s focus on deep rest, healing and transformation.

So we partnered with world class healers to help us understand and attune the energy of each space based on our intentions. We identified the most calming, grounded energies on the land to support deep rest in our yurts, cabins and glamping tents. We organized our group gathering spaces in areas that could optimally support group expression and connection. We found portals to the divine on the land and consecrated them as the sacred chakras points.

We discovered our unique magic in the world of hospitality.

We offer safe, private, intimate spaces that hold great depth and spaciousness for accelerated healing and transformation of individuals and groups.

We lovingly share our sacred sanctuary with all who:

  • Understand that while human comfort is important, maintaining a light footprint on Mother Earth is our first priority.

  • Value the importance of being brought back into nature to reconnect with their true nature

  • Have a sincere desire to be in right relationship with land and to give back energetically and physically while they are here.

  • Take care of our land and space with deep reverence and care while visiting.

  • Understand that we are not a hotel or dwelling where the relationship with the space is transactional.  We are a temple space that integrates the sacred in all aspects of life— resting, eating, connecting, playing and creating. There is no separation between heaven and earth on our land.

  • Demonstrate a clean, respectful relationship with the currency of money and abundance when partnering with us.

OUR COMMUNAL GATHERING SPACES

We collaborated with professional energy healers and fengshui masters to create a dynamic museum-like experience for beauty, reverence, spiritual growth and transformation. Our communal spaces have been carefully designed to support deep rejuvenation and to foster a living giving vs. extractive relationship with the land that we steward.

REVIEWS FROM OUR GUESTS

HODARI

From the moment we drove over the bridge into Hestia, we felt warmly welcomed by staff and community members.

The landscape is a beautiful mix of hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and cedar, with a creek running through it, providing spaces of respite and rich riparian plant communities.

With thoughtful simplicity and attention to detail, Hestia’s off-the-grid yurts offered us everything we needed to be comfortable for quiet time away from the city.

The site staff were attentive and accessible while respecting our privacy. Shared spaces were clean and friendly, and the yurt structure is both captivating to gaze within, and thoughtfully organized.

And Hestia is in a gorgeous part of California! We took advantage of easy access to Mt Shasta and the McCloud River to enjoy botanical walks and bird watching. Even in a really particularly hot stretch of summer, the access to the higher elevations on the mountain made it comfortable to manage our exposure.

We can’t wait to come back!

review-retreat-hestia.png

Our arts and cultural center rented Hestia to host our team retreat and vision planning. It was the perfect place to do so.

The home accommodated our group perfectly. Before we arrived Belinda went out of her way to set beds/rooms to accommodate our large group. The home has many beautiful details that highlight nature and she has a small library of wonderful books. The living room, kitchen and outdoor areas were perfect to gather, converse, and reflect.

Parks Creek with its healing waters runs through the property. It was in a great location for hikes, swimming or heading to Stewart Springs. I look forward to returning!”

Wow! We have such immense gratitude for Belinda and the folks at Hestia. They truly provide an experience for visitors that is grounded in peace and love.

The home is surrounded by the natural gems of the Mount Shasta region. The home itself is reflective of this beauty, and is a PERFECT fit for larger groups. We visited with our family, including our 11 month old son, and everyone was very happy with the stay!

Thank you for such clear communication, Belinda. We now know we have a second home in Weed!”

This was by far above what I could have imagined! Belinda’s land is magical, we could all feel it. I had a group of ladies joining me for a retreat and this place was the perfect location.

The house was extremely cozy and warm, we all felt at home. The furnishings were adjustable in the living room for all our different activities.

When I crossed over the bridge of the Mt. Shasta river to get to the property, it felt as though the old world fell behind and I entered into pure magic. The sounds of the river were so soothing, everyone slept well and had fascinating dreams. There were hidden gems all over the forested property to discover.

“ The views of the yard and river are breathtaking and there is so much to explore on the property. The house is absolutely beautiful, well kept up and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. We all loved the many beautiful decorations around the house.

The Stewart mineral springs is so close to the house and definitely worth a visit. We also got to sit in a Native American sweat lodge there that they run every Saturday.

The property is very quiet and magical and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We will definitely be returning again. Thanks again Belinda, Aho!!!
